How are you all doing
I am doing great!!!!
So I am back with another blog, I hope you like it and you are as excited as I am.
This year passed by so quick where I went through the biggest changes of my life! Staying away from friends and family in a new country around new people and new school ofc. But it's my favourite time of the year! Decemberrrrr, I love the series of blogs i post in december each year near new year. Though december isn't really my favourite any longer after experiencing the chilly -40 degree celsius. Oh yes, that's true! anyways coming back to the topic, I learnt a lot this year and today I am here to share the 5 most important lessons I learnt this year
1. True life is lived when tiny changes occur
As stated earlier, I went through the biggest change of my life this year, comingg to CANADA, it was very tough to adjust at the start but I realised it's for my future betterment. This was the time I got prepared for all the hurdles in life. It gave a little trailer on how to deal with life because life can change anytime. Who knows where I'll be in the next 5 years...maybe some other country but now one thing I can say for sure is that I am strong enough to tolerate the changes in life.
2. Everyone needs a break!
Life has always been a rollercoaster. It's time everyone should take a break and forget about all the worries in life... work, school, household etc. whatsoever! The 3 months spent at home made me realise that this was my first long good break after 2020 lockdown. I did all I wanted to do... and found a new version of myself, a fresher, better, prettier version of myself who was ready to fight the world and knew that she was capable of anything she wants to do.
3. Sometimes life doesn't give you what you want, not because you don't deserve it but because you deserve more!
Rewinding back to June 2022, I expressed my feelings when I lost the school elections. It shattered my heart completely for a second because I really wanted the post. I felt useless, incapable of the job but within a week the school selected me as the secretary for the voice of cambridge! I was a part of the school council finally and it fulfilled my greatest dream! I could proudly wear a badge on my chest. I couldn't serve the school for long but that 1 month also meant a lot to me!
4. Distance really doesn't matter
I just love my friends!!! They are much more than friends to me. I am a still part of the group, we love each other just the way we did. We talk every week and laugh and fight as if I was still there. Trust me!! True friends are never apart , they are always so close to your heart . Now I can proudly say, coming to Canada didn't affect my friendships!
5. The root for joyfulness in gratefulness
It's human nature, you always want more of what you have (yeh dil maange more) , you can never have enough of anything but it's time to be grateful for the lovely life you get to live, amazing people that you get to be around, delicious food you get to eat. I never thought of thanking god for all I have in life, but this year I was grateful to God for everything that came my way and most importantly I am grateful to god every morning for letting me live another day!
To conclude with, it's just me welcoming another year to get older and more mature in life, still searching my soul and my real goals in life. My journey is going to go on ,sharing everything with you guys but tonight before you go to bed, just think what made 2022 special for you...and what you learnt.
